| Report claims two IAF helicopters sought permission to land in Romania due to technical problems |
| Two Israeli helicopters sought an emergency landing due to technical problems in Romania Tuesday, according to the Romanian Ministry of Defense.
There has been no official response from the IDF. The incident comes a week after six IAF crew and a Romanian pilot were killed when their helicopter crashed into a mountainous area during training.
No casualties were reported in the incident. The police said they received an emergency call from residents of nearby villages, and sent rescue forces to the area.
